What to do with them? How to Store? Recipes below!

garlic – we don't need to tell you who to use up this little gem.

(keep in a dark/dry place)

zucchini - check out this list of Food 52's best 31 zucchini recipes of all time. Also, we made this quick zucchini saute last week and it was AMAZING! Sorry, we didn't take a picture. Or how about this zucchini grilled cheese?

(store in the fridge in a plastic bag)

kale – don’t forget to give it a little massage and remove the stem. Check out this video of how to remove kale leaves from the stem in seconds.

This chicken with kale and white beans recipe looks good. As well as this pummeled kale with cauliflower and haloumi. Or how about these mini kale shakshuka!?

(store in the fridge)

carrots this carrot salad recipe looks good. Don't forget you can eat the carrot greens, we like to use them up in our spanakopita pie recipe

(Remove the carrot tops (they leach moisture from the roots) before storing them both in plastic bags in the fridge)

dill – more than just a garnish, we love dill in so many of our favourite recipes. Have you tried the chilled beet and dill soup yet? See below. We also like it in cocktails and in our pickled beans!

(tuck it into a glass with an inch of water at the bottom and leave in the fridge or on the counter)

beets – both the roots and the tops are edible. Here is a list of recipes we've been meaning to try:

roasted beet salad with lemon tahini dressing

roasted beet salad with chevre and green goddess dressing

roasted carrots and beets with pesto

roasted beets with herbed tzatziki

beet and burrata salad with fried bread

(remove the tops from the roots before storing in the fridge)

swiss chard – don't forget that both the leaves and stalks are edible. For fun, here is an epic swiss chard recipe round up:

pickled swiss chard stems

baked eggs with swiss chard and green olives

cheesy potato kulchas with swiss chard and scallion

pork, swiss chard dumplings

swiss chard, herb and cheese tart

swiss chard and white beans - VIDEO

swiss chard stalk pesto

swiss chard tahini dip

(store in a bag in the fridge)

beans – beans beans beans! We love beans! especially in this recipe for green beans gremolata.

(store in a bag in the fridge)

tomatoes - finally! the tomatoes have arrived. DO NOT put them in the fridge!

(store on the counter, never in the fridge)

eggplant – aren't they beautiful!? We've been counting down the days until the eggplant is ready. See below for two delicious eggplant dishes, we've also been eyeing up this ratatouille recipe.

(store then in the fridge)
