carrots – we've been enjoying ours raw, with dip!

(store in a bag in the fridge)

beets – have you tried slicing the roots and braising them in a pan with a bit of water and butter?!

(Remove greens up arriving home, leaving 1” of the stem on the roots, store in the fridge)

scallions

(store in a bag in the fridge)

beans - beans beans beans!

(store in a bag in the fridge)

sage – use it fresh in shortbread cookies or a cocktail, or dry and save for Thanksgiving.

lettuce mix – you know the drill! Store in the fridge.

zucchini – grill 'em, shred 'em, make them into noodles!!!

(store in the fridge)

kale

(store in a plastic bag in the fridge)

tomatoes – the first of many. Do not store in the fridge!

garlic – you know what to do.

jalapeno – we love jalapenos! Especially in cocktails or on a nice peach toast – see below.
