carrots – so crunchy and delicious, we enjoy them best with dip.

beans - beans beans beans! have you made the bean with gremolata recipe yet? We always have a batch of it in the fridge, it keeps SO well.

parsley – recipe ideas below. Store in a glass with an inch of water in the bottom, in the fridge.

zucchini – we made this zucchini, lemon, poppy seed bread this morning. it is fantastic!

eggplant - what a beautiful veggie. We really like to slice it about 1/3 of an inch thick, brush with olive oil and grill on the BBQ

kale – kale salad and kale chips are our favourite way to eat kale.

sweet pepper – those little orange peppers are so sweet! We eat them like an apple.

tomatoes – Do not store in the fridge!

garlic – you know what to do.

potatoes – they’re finally here! We like them best boiled, or steamed and slathered with butter! They’re new potatoes, so they won’t store for a very long time, best to eat within a week.

(store in a dark, dry place)

kohlrabi – so crunchy and refreshing! Simply peel off the skin and enjoy the white inside. We like to snack on it raw, or shredded on a salad, but you can also add it to a stirfry or make some quick pickles!
