What to do with them? How to Store? Recipes below!

zucchini – have you tried our zucchini bread recipe yet? recipe below.

(store in the fridge in a plastic bag)

kale – don’t forget to give it a little massage and remove the stem.

(store in the fridge)

carrots – we like ‘em raw with dip! we gave you a few big ones this week in case some of you are into juicing.

(Remove the carrot tops (they leach moisture from the roots) before storing them both in plastic bags in the fridge)

cucumbers – we've been making ours into fridge pickles - check out this recipe.

(store in the fridge)

beans – what are you thoughts on this green beans sandwich?

(store in a bag in the fridge)

tomatoes – aren’t they gorgeous!? You should try out the tomato galette recipe below.

(store on the counter, never in the fridge)

ground cherries - one of our absolute favourite fruits! Remove the out husk when it becomes papery and pop the entire orange fruit in your mouth. It's not a cherry, so there isn't a pit!

(store on your counter top)

herbs - basil, dill, and parsley. try them in a mixed herb pasta, see recipe below.

garlic - yum!

eggplant - so beautiful! Chop up and toss these in a stirfry or slice and grill on the BBQ.

(store in the fridge in a plastic bag)

swiss chard - the stalks are edible too, we like to chop and saute for a few minutes before adding the tender leaves.

(store in the fridge in a plastic bag)

scallions - have you tried to grill them on the BBQ?

(store in the fridge in a bag, or use the tops and add the bottom two inches to a glass with an inch of water and leave on the counter)

peppers - mostly sweet, but the large green one is neutral and the small green one is hot.

(store in the fridge in a bag)
